Skill: recognizing, comparing and ordering numbers 1-30Vocabulary: big, bigger, small, smaller, more, less, high, low

How to play: Place the boy on the left & the girl on the right at either end of thenumber line (1-10, 1-20 or 1-30) Say: I’m thinking of a number between 1 -10 (orwhatever range you are using) The children take turns guessing the number. If theirguess is too high, you say: That number is too high , and move the girl on the right tocover that number. If the number they guess is too low, you say: That number is toolow , and move the boy on the left to cover that number. The children continue guessinguntil the right number has been guessed or “squeezed” between the two pieces. You maylet the winner choose the next secret number and move the boy & girl according to the
