In 2019, Sarawak had been chosen to host the 22nd Family Medicine Scienti�c Conference in
tandem with our aim to ensure Family Medicine Specialists and all involved in primary care stay
abreast with the current medical knowledge and practices. This once a year opportunity also creates new professional networking among primary care health providers, strengthen working relationships
among those from home and abroad as well as promote research and educational activities
in the primary care �eld.
OVERVIEW
1. To facilitate continuous learning in scienti�c and practical aspects of primary health care.2. Provide a platform for both local and international panel of experts to bring the latest clinical and
best practice updates to the primary care provider community. 3. Galvanise the family medicine fraternity towards community care transformationthroughout Malaysia and elevating our health standards to that of a developed nation.
4. Promote research activities related to primary care via posters and free paper presentations.5. Foster ties with the pharmaceutical industry to get latest updates on the newest medical
modalities and treatment.
