arcserve UDP Agent (Windows): 1 GHz or faster processor recommended

arcserve UDP RPS Server: 4 logical processor or faster processor recommended

RAM:

arcserve UDP Agent (Windows): 1 GB or more recommended

arcserve UDP RPS Server: 8GB or more recommended

Disk Space Requirements:

– Installation of arcserve_Unified_Data_Protection_Agent.exe : 2 GB (minimum), 2.5 GB or more (recommended), 2GB free for

temp folder, 300MB free on System Volume for shared

components

– Installation of arcserve_Unified_Data_Protection.exe: 5 GB (minimum), 7 GB or more (recommended), 3GB free for temp

folder, 2GB free on System Volume for shared components

Host-Based VM Backup:

– VIX API 1.13 is required on the machine acting as the arcserve® UDP backup proxy for agentless backups. It is also recommended

to install VIX API 1.13.x on the machine where you installed the arcserve® UDP Console.

– For VIX API 1.13, it is required that all virtual machines are updated with the most recent VMware tools.
