Under His Wings

One of the safest places for a baby chick is underneath its mother’s wings.

When a chick snuggles under its mother’s wings, everything seems fine. It doesn’t have to worry about the cool wind or darkness.

It feels safe and warm under Mother Hen’s feathers.

Jesus said He wanted us to come to Him in the same way that a chick comes to its mother.

Jesus wants to put His arms around us and hold us close to Him. They aren’t real wings, and they

aren’t human arms; they are better.

God reaches out and wraps His love around us. We can’t feel Him or see Him, but God is there

holding us. We can come to Jesus and trust Him just as a chick trusts its mother.
