For the third year, proceeds from the event were donated to Operation Helping Hand, a project of the Tampa Chapter of Military Officers Association of America. e volunteer organization helps the families of wounded and injured veterans during their stay in Tampa Bay. Representatives from Operation Helping Hand, Bob and Sherry Markee, accept a $1,000 contribution from Connerton, pictured with Joan Staut, Connerton’s Marketing Coordinator, after the event. Top finishers included: • Men’s 5K - Shannon ompson • Men’s 10k - Evan Evans • Women’s 5k - Isabella Pawloski • Women’s 10k - Jennifer Glickman

Runners competing in sanctioned USA Track & Field (USATF) events, the third annual Connerton Challenge 10K, 5K and Kids’ Fun Run held on Saturday, Nov. 5 produced impressive results for participants including many Connerton residents.

For the third year, proceeds from the event were donated to Operation Helping Hand, a project of the Tampa Chapter of Military Officers Association of America. The volunteer organization helps the families of wounded and injured veterans during their stay in Tampa Bay.
