An electrical outage has been requested by the Corp of Engineers on Thursday the 6th of September to facilitate the final electrical connections on various MCA project located in the Eight Hundred area of South post commencing at 5 pm (Sept. 6th) and will continue to 3 am.(Sept. 7th.)
Listed below are the buildings and areas that will be effected and the duration.
1. Building 2312 (outage to last 1hr. at the beginning of the outage and 1hr. and the end of the outage) ( PW electric shop will man the standby generator as required)
2. Buildings 770-775-780-785 (outage to last 1hr. at the beginning of the outage and 1hr. and the end of the outage)
3. The entire 4800 area (outage to last 1hr. at the beginning of the outage and 1hr. and the end of the outage)
4. Building 990 outage to last 1hr. at the beginning of the outage and 1hr. and the end of the outage)
5. Buildings 1880-1885-880-855 (outage will be the entire duration)
The outage is scheduled for approx 10 hours but if done sooner power will be restored immediately.

Military Family Life Consultants are civilians with no reporting obligations to commanders who are available free of charge to Soldiers and their Families. The Military Family Life Consultants (MFLCs) are licensed professionals who listen to your issues and direct you to agencies who can help. Sometimes all it takes is talking out the issue in order to find a resolution.
