Intentional Leadership: Engaging Virtual EmployeesSpeaker: Cheryl Koch, CPCU, CIC, ARM, AAI, API, AAM, AIM, AIS, ARP, AINS, ACSR, FIS,President/CEO, Agency Management Resource Group
Whether you already had a remote workforce or the pandemic persuaded you to create one, you will want to adapt your leadership style to this new normal. In the past, we may have done a lot of “management by wander-ing around” and that was very eff ective. Clearly, we’re not going to be able to use that technique any longer. With work-from-home (or live-at-work) employees, you will want to change the way you communicate, engage, and
interact with them. You’ll also want to consider how to measure and reward per-formance in this new environment. Th is session will help you make the transition to Intentional Leadership.
Cheryl Koch has been in the insurance industry for a very long time. She has served in nearly every capacity in an independent agency. She now devotes her time to agency management consulting, training and speaking at industry functions throughout the country. She is the President and CEO of Agency Management Resource Group located in Lincoln, Calif. Cheryl consults on marketing and sales, sales management, agency operations, automation, and strategic planning.
Cheryl is also a devotee of lifelong learning and has earned a number of insurance industry professional designations. It is AFIS (Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist) of which she is most proud, having created it along with the late Dr. Emmett J. Vaughan.
