a warm welcome to Mrs Helen LaMacchia, who has joined the Balmain family this week, as an SLSO, or School Learning Support Officer (just like Ms Ally). Ms Helen will be working with Kindergarten on Thursdays and Fridays.
You may recognise the name LaMacchia - Helen is related to Mr James LaMacchia, 5/6 Lamalama’s teacher. Helen is James’ mum.
Kindergarten looks forward to you working in the classroom with them!
Very proud of my baby girl, Rena,
who graduated from the
University of Notre Dame on
Monday!
Rena graduated with a Bachelor
of Education: Birth to Twelve
Years; and she is now able to
teach in primary schools, from
Kindergarten to Year 6, as well
as in early childhood settings.

Welcome…
Thanks so much, Ms Megan Sweeney, for coordinating a fantabulous Easter Hat Parade! You take your job so seriously and do it with such style! What a great event it was! Photos later in this edition of Pigeon Post (to be posted shortly to our school website)… What a welcome for Ms Helen, who assisted Chief Bunny Rabbit, Ms Sweeney, to hop around the parade track, prior to the parade commencing…you’re a great sport - thank you!
