NO SEEDS at any field. NO RVs, Travel Trailers etc. at Carlon Park and must park off site, all weekend. No overnight parking at West Valley High School. Some 16/18s are at West Valley High School on Saturday. ALL 16/18s will be at Carlon Park Sunday. All 12s will be at Carlon Park Saturday and West Valley High School on Sunday. Concessions will be available at both Carlon Park and West Valley High School. T-Shirt vendor will be at Carlon Park only, all day Saturday and Sunday until noon. Sunday Brackets are posted on the website within one hour of the final game. 3. Only NOSCAE approved and properly identified facemasks will be allowed.
4. Home team will be determined by a coin flip, by the umpire immediately before the start of the game.
Home team will be the official scorebook. Dugouts will be occupied on a first come, first serve basis.
5. Both teams must report game score to tournament director with 15 minutes of end of game or 0-0 tie
will be scored.
6. All players must wear matching or similar jerseys with visible numbers.
7. No infield practice is allowed on the field. Batting practice must have cleats on warning track, hitting
to outfield, in order to prevent divots in grass.
8. No hitting, throwing or batting anything against any fences. No person 18 years old or under may
warm up a pitcher without a catcher’s mask.

9. Free DefensiveDefensiveDefensiveDefensive Substitution and “bat your line up” on Saturday and Sunday. Championship play
substitution rules will apply if you choose to bat 9 with subs. When batting line-up, line-up will be
squeezed if injured player leaves the game. Pinch runner for pitcher/catcher only per USA Softball.
10. Run Rule: All Divisions, Pool Play and Elimination Rounds as well as Final: 12 runs after three (3), 10
after four (4) complete or eight 8 runs after (5) innings.
11. Saturday / Pool Play: 7 innings, No new inning will be started after 1 hour 25 minutes. If the game is
tied at the end of the time limit or 7 innings in pool play, the tie will stand.

14. There will be no grace period for teams to start playing, teams must be ready to start play at or before
the designated time.
15. Official time begins as the first pitch is made. It is the responsibility of the coaches to ask umpire to
verbalize official game time and EACH book to record official start time before the games starts.
16. In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Director reserves the right to change the schedule
as needed to proceed with the tournament. Teams are NOT to leave field during weather delay.
17. All protests must be decided before the next pitch is thrown and will be settled by the UIC or the TD.
18. Per USA Softball, Metal Cleats are only allowed for players 14u and older. 10u & 12u are not allowed.
19. Batter must keep one foot in batter’s box during at bat, unless she needs to vacate.
20. Seeding: Win-loss record, Tie Breaker: head-to-head, run differential, runs allowed, runs scored (max
8 runs scored for seeding), & if needed, a coin flip. If a team has additional pool game (in the case of
uneven number of teams) that teams’ lowest performing game will be eliminated from seeding.

21. No bikes, scooters, skateboards or other “wheeled toys” allowed inside complex.
22. Use of loud noisemakers, whistles, cowbells, and empty cans with gravel etc., will be considered
unsportsmanlike conduct and will not be allowed.
23. No smoking of any kind allowed (Cigarette’s, E-Cigarettes, Vaping, Marijuana, Cigars, Pipes, etc.) at
any GYGSA event. Alcohol and drugs are also prohibited. Please help “self-police”.
24. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Dogs that are disruptive or barking, or causing a safety
hazard may be required to leave the field. Tournament Director has right to request any dog to be
removed at any time. Dogs may not be left in cars. Please clean up after your dog.
