Principal’s Report

Welcome back!

I trust all of our families enjoyed a happy holiday. Get

ready for another jam-packed term of wonderful

learning opportunities for our students! A copy of our

calendar is attached for your information so you can

lock in the important dates.

Education Week

Week 3 is Education Week for Public schools in NSW.

The theme this year is:

‘EVERY STUDENT – EVERY VOICE’

Our special Open Day will be held on Wednesday 7

August – see details later in this newsletter. We hope

to see as many of our families as possible coming

along to join us.

Gymnastics Lessons

Our very own Mrs Sue Davis is trained in coaching

gymnastics. She will be conducting a weekly gymnastics

session for every class each Friday, commencing in

Week 1. Stage 2 Blue will have their Gymnastics day on

a Wednesday. All students will need to wear their sports

uniform in order to participate. Mr Tarbit will be

teaching Stage 2 Blue on Fridays while Mrs Davis is

running the gymnastics sessions.

Staff for Term 3

Mr Paul Tarbit will be replacing Miss Newman in Term

3, teaching History and Geography and taking some RFF

teaching time for teachers. Thank you to Miss Newman

for the wonderful job that she did at Junee North during

Term 2. Welcome Mr Tarbit!

Mrs Shephard will be extending her sick leave for the

rest of the year. We will see her back in 2020. Miss Sarah

Parker will continue to teach Stage 3 Yellow for the

remainder of the year.
