His Hands Support Minis- tries sent a team of two the first week in September to meet with students from three programs—Colegio Moriah, Con Cristo and Los Brujanes. Local college students (many who gradu- ated from Colegio Moriah) joined the HH team to help with translating, pictures and student updates. Over 5 days, we updated the student information of just over 500 students. One major change was we did not collect any meas- urements (except shoe size). This allowed us to see more students and spend more time with the students. We saw a lot of change at each of the school programs. At Cole- gio Moriah, there were two additional classrooms that were added over the summer. Los Bru- janes added a small “overflow” classroom to help with their large class of 4 year olds. We saw the most change at Con Cristo with their new school of about 45 students. In prior years, the Con Cristo pro- gram consisted of students from the community and some students who attend- ed Con Cristo Church. However, in an effort to meet the growing needs of high risk students/families in the area, they opened a small school in the lower level of the church. I was saddened not to see some students who had been in the Con Cristo program for several years. However, I was so encouraged by all the new students. The cre- ation of this school is an answered prayer. College students, Rut and Tania, help with student updates. Prayer Requests: Pray for the students and their families Pray for the teachers and school staff Pray for Pastor Salvador, Pastor Felix, Pastor Luis and Pastor Tanis along with their families Pray on how God is leading you to help support students in Dominican Republic through Give, Pray and Go. 2019 Snapshot September 2019
