OVERVIEW

The School Improvement Council (SIC) is an advisory committee of volunteers that in-

cludes parents, students, faculty, staff and community members. The mission during the

2018-2019 school year is to identify and implement ways to help a great school become

even better. Because SOA has outstanding academic success, the SIC chose to focus on

student life. Two areas of focus were identified: Student Orientation, and Community

Building.
