Established in 2001, the Movie Madness Series presents movies in neighborhood parks throughout North Las Vegas. The 2019 season

features a total of 8 movies- two that will be presented in each Council Member’s ward.

This year’s schedule includes showings at Aviary, Eldorado, Goynes, Goldcrest, Lincoln Elementary, Seastrand, Tom Williams Elementary,

Established in 2017, the Twilight Blockbusters Series presents enhanced movie events at Nature Discovery Park and Craig

Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Each of the 2019 events features a variety of themed activities for the entire family, capped off by a showing of recent blockbuster movies.

Each event attracts between 1,000-2,500 attendees from North Las

Vegas and the surrounding communities.

The event is a tribute to the classic summer night: water slides,

cool cars, and great music. One of the features of the event

will be the water slide village – with slides for all ages highlighted by the tallest inflatable slides in the country!

The event also features a wide array of cars from many eras displayed around the beautiful ponds on the south end of the park. As the sun goes down the

music gets hot as we kick off the official start of summer.

Established in 2016, the Craig Ranch Camp-Out offers the only urban camping experience in Southern Nevada!

Held inside the Amp, the event features numerous activities and contests, capped off by a showing of the blockbuster “How to Train

Your Dragon”. Following the movie, participants spend the night under the stars with breakfast served in the morning.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

Established in the early 2000s, the Halloween-themed carnival, haunted house, and Trunk-R-Treat event is one of the most anticipated annual events.

The event features a carnival midway with 20+ games; roving magicians, face painters and balloon artists; jump houses; costume contests; a haunted

house; and Trunk-R-Treat.

The event attracts 8000+ attendees, primarily families with an average household income of 40k+.
