Hey Scottie Friends! FALL/WINTER 2019-2020 I hope you’ve all had a great year so far. I’m excited that the holidays are right around the corner. I’m ready for fun and festivities and I bet all of you are too! Lately, I’ve been thinking how I can start 2020 off right. I’ve decided to work on my New Year’s Resolutions early. Here are two that I think we can all work on together: Have you ever noticed that when you smile at someone, it can make their day better? That’s because it does. Smiling, listening, being helpful or polite are easy to do every day. It takes little effort, but can make a big impact. So...say “thank you” to your parents from time to time or set the dinner table without being told. When you’re nice to others, it not only changes you, it changes the world! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I love that saying. It simply means to be cheerful even when a situation doesn’t go quite how you expected. What if your sibling takes your favorite game? Instead of getting mad, try and play the game together. Or what if you forgot to do your homework the night before? Go to your teacher ahead of time and see if you’re able to make it up. Remember -- every situation has a bright side. It just depends on your attitude and how you choose to make it better! SCOTTIE SAVER NEWS Scottie’s Word to Parents: The holidays will soon be upon us and so will identity thieves. Hey Scottie Friends!

FALL/WINTER 2019-2020

I hope you’ve all had a great year so far. I’m excited that the holidays are right around the corner. I’m ready for fun and festivities and I bet all of you are too! Lately, I’ve been thinking how I can start 2020 off right. I’ve decided to work on my New Year’s Resolutions early.

Here are two that I think we can all work on together:

Have you ever noticed that when you smile at someone, it can make their day better? That’s because it does. Smiling, listening, being helpful or polite are easy to do every day. It takes little effort, but can make a big impact. So...say “thank you” to your parents from time to time or set the dinner table without being told. When

you’re nice to others, it not only changes you, it changes the world!
