WitchitaW are Nashville recording artists with a new album coming out May 5th titled “The Ride”. They have performed all over Atlantic Canada including the PEI Cavendish Beach Music Festival. Their latest single, “Posse” was released in February and 28 radio stations across Canada have Posse in rotation including Sirius XM Canada - CBC Country. Jeff Bonang is Saltscapes troubadour and a fan favorite every year. Jeff combines traditional East Coast favorites with unique original compositions that touch your heart, challenge the mind and bring a smile to your face. Always a must see at Expo.
Louisa manueL is a well-known Nova Scotia singer, songwriter and recording artist in the pop-country genre. Since 2005 she has been performing in the duo “Louisa and Neil” with piano-vocalist Neil MacKinnon. This will be their third Saltscapes appearance - always a crowd favourite!

From country rock to blues, bluegrass to classic favorites from the ‘70s & ‘80s, it’s hard
not to tap your toes, clap your hands and sing along.
The Subaru Songwriters stages feature talented East Coast artists proud of their
roots and eager to showcase both traditional and original
songs for all to enjoy.
skin & Jones is a versatile musical duo combining the talents of Thomas Majcan (Skin) and Paul Brushett (Jones). Skin & Jones have a unique sound, cover a very wide range of styles and never fail to honour a request from the crowd. Their ‘70s and ‘80s tunes mirror the original artists exceptionally well.
Jon cyr’s roots are built on classic as well as new country and bluegrass. Jon’s music is influenced by the Tragically Hip, Great Big Sea, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Blue Rodeo, Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton. Thinking Chris Stapleton is in the house is not a stretch – Jon’s deep, rich vocals are a musical treat.
the hupman Brothers are one of the most loved musical groups in Nova Scotia with an original sound and superb artistry making any music they play their own. As a duo, they become as if one with rich percussive guitar work and expressive and intricate solos. The lead vocals are exciting, emotional and enhanced by harmonies that are pure, clear and evocative. Their accomplishments include various nominations and awards including an ECMA, a Music Nova Scotia Award, International Song writing competition semi-finalists and a Maple Blues Award Nomination.
