NFCA Pitching & Hitting Endorsements The NFCA is proud to announce a new initiative to recognize coaches who have a vested interest in hitting and pitching, and who have committed to their personal and professional growth through NFCA sponsored education. Beginning in 2019, an official NFCA coaching endorsement will be provided to coaches who attend three pitching or hitting specific courses in a four-year period. After the initial endorsement is earned, they must be "renewed" by taking at least one applicable NFCA educational course (NFCC course or Pre-Convention seminar) a minimum of once every three years. Every year, the NFCA will have at least one endorsement eligible course offered in both hitting and pitching. In addition to courses taken in 2019 and beyond, eligible courses taken in 2017 and 2018 may also be applied to earn coaching endorsement(s). Courses taken prior to 2017 DO NOT count toward initial certification. A current, full list of courses that may be used for your coaching endorsement are below: 2017 Eligible Pitching Education: NFCC 402A (Las Vegas) 2018 Eligible Pitching Education: NFCC 402A (Chicago) 2019 Eligible Pitching Education: “Pitch Perfect” Pre-Convention Seminar (Atlantic City) 2017 Eligible Hitting Education: NFCC 402B (Las Vegas) 2018 Eligible Hitting Education: “Fill Up the Boxscore” Pre-Convention Seminar (Chicago) 2019 Eligible Hitting Education: NFCC 405 (Louisville) NFCC 402B (Atlantic City) If a coach earns an NFCA endorsement, but does not renew within the three-year window, the coach will need to accrue three courses in a [four-year period] to regain the endorsement. A new certificate will be sent each time a coach attends a class that renews their endorsement.
