Welcome to the 2018 ASRL Australian Open. We would like to acknowledge all the support from Sutherland Shire Council in making this event happen and to our event sponsors the Royal Australian Navy and Destination NSW. Elouera is a busy city beach so we ask all sweeps and rowers for help in making sure that the traffic plans attached to here are adhered to. Thousands of people use our beach and foreshore / promenade area every morning and on busy weekends in summer that number swells to tens of thousands. Add 2000 rowers, officials and supporters as well as the influx of over 2000 nippers on a Sunday between Wanda and Cronulla it is easy to see how important it is that we all follow the authorised traffic management plans and the direction of ASRL officials and workforce. Because of the traffic management plans, crews are asked to unload their boats at North Wanda where the trailers will be stored, and then row down to Elouera. For those who raced at Stockton this is a very similar set up where we put boats in further down the beach and had to row up to the competition areas. Bags, tents and other equipment can be unloaded above Elouera SLSC in the designated zones however cars are not to be left unattended or double parked along the road. Council rangers will be active and may enforce fines for not following directions and the guidelines listed in this circular. 2018 ASRL Australian Open Surf Boat Championships

Elouera is a busy city beach so we ask all sweeps and rowers for help in making sure that the traffic plans attached

on busy weekends in summer that number swells to tens of thousands. Add 2000 rowers, officials and supporters
as well as the influx of over 2000 nippers on a Sunday between Wanda and Cronulla it is easy to see how important
it is that we all follow the authorised traffic management plans and the direction of ASRL officials and workforce.
Because of the traffic management plans, crews are asked to unload their boats at North Wanda where the trailers
will be stored, and then row down to Elouera. For those who raced at Stockton this is a very similar set up where
we put boats in further down the beach and had to row up to the competition areas.
