Activity Description and Target AudienceThis meeting is designed for general internists, subspecialty internists, family physicians, fellows in subspecialty training, allied health practitioners, residents, and medical students interested in internal medicine. The purpose is to improve diagnosis and treatment skills and provide updates on inpatient and outpatient medicine. This is the only forum for internal medicine physicians in the state to convene, confer with colleagues, and update knowledge and skills! Back by popular demand: Earn MOC credits!

Educational ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:• Apply updated knowledge of internal medicine to clinical practice.• Improve clinical practice by incorporating major new developments in subspecialty medicine.• Understand recent advances in internal medicine.• Understand aspects of care for patients transitioning from pediatric to adult-oriented health care.

CME AccreditationThe American College of Physicians is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American College of Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC StatementSuccessful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 8.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credit claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

FACP, will give a presentation on “Practicing Humanistic Medicine in a Digital World” during the Governor’s Awards Dinner, at which the 2018 Laureate and Volunteerism and Community Service Awards will be presented;

Meeting Registration: Register by January 30 and Save! The registration fee for ACP member physicians is $175. The fee for non-member physicians is $250, and for allied health professionals fees are $125-$150. Emeritus or retired members, residents and medical students may attend free of charge. Registration fees include the two days of meeting sessions, the Friday evening reception, continental breakfast, lunch and breaks, as well as the CME certificate and electronic copy of the course handouts. The fee for dinner, which includes 0.5 hour of CME credit, is $40 for registered physicians and allied health professionals and their guests, and $25 for registered residents and students and their guests. Register securely online at http://www.cvent.com/d/ftql31, or complete the form in this brochure and return it via fax or mail. After January 30, registration fees will increase. Please note that refunds of registration fees will not be made after Friday, February 16. Refunds, less $25, will be made for cancellations received prior to that date. No-shows will be billed.
