Hello from all of us at TTCD, and welcome to our first ever production, High School Musical: On Stage! We are so excited to be able to put on this show for our patrons and community.

So what is TTCD? TTCD (Teen Theatre Company of Danville) is a theatre com-pany comprised of an all teen board that plans to create a safe space for teens

around the area to safely express themselves through the art of acting and singing. We have many exciting opportunities for directing, choreograph-ing, stage managing, lighting/sound managing, producing, and starring planned for our future! More information can be found at ttcdanville.org, or on our Facebook/Instagram at @ttcd2017. A huge “Break a leg!” to our performers and production staff as they showcase this amazing show. Go Wildcats!

From the DirectorHigh School Musical has been a part of my life since preschool. I used to watch the movie over and over again and force my little sister to learn the dances with me. When the second and third movies came out, I was just as enraptured as I was with the first. I genuinely love this series: the music, dancing, corny romance, and everything in between. When TTCD applied to put on the summer teen musical, it was a nerve-wracking experience. As a new company, we had no idea what to expect, but we were ready to face whatever was coming our way. Together with my amazing team of teen directors, this show experience has been absolutely amazing! Everyone on the production committee is between the ages of 16-19, which has made this show a completely different experience from anything teens in this area have ever done. The rehearsal environment was insanely fun, fast-paced and supportive. Our cast managed to bond and connect based on the fact that we are peers. I could not have done this without the help of my two amazing mentor-directors, Lisa Richter and Paul Strain. They have been absolutely wonderful in guiding me through this whirlwind adventure. This entire experience has been a blast, and I am unbelievably proud of this outstanding cast. We have created a masterpiece, and I really hope you enjoy High School Musical: On Stage!
