SPECIAL NOTE:

Central Offices will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday – May 27.

Central Office SUMMER HOURS will begin Tuesday, May 27 through Friday, July 19, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Normal business hours (7:30 am – 4:15 pm) will resume Monday, July 22!

Due to heavy construction around the EACS Administration Building this summer, all

board meetings in June (June 4, June 18) and July (July 16) will be held at New Haven Primary School (1445 Berwick Lane, New Haven).

This is the final bulletin for the 2018-19 school year.

2. SUMMER LITERACY PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (PD)

Please join IDOE to collaboratively create the next chapter of Hoosier literacy. "Pages to Paradise" is a professional development opportunity geared towards supporting teachers and administrators of PK-12 schools focused on improving literacy instruction. Sessions include early learning, elementary literacy, secondary literacy, dyslexia, world languages, and high ability. Professional Growth Points will be offered for attending the PD sessions. Please go to IDOE website to register for the literacy summer PD to be held at Woodlan Jr. Sr. High School on July 23, 2019 ~ 9:00 am – 12:30 pm.

6. REMINDER: WALKING SUMMER PARADES FOR WELLNESS POINTS This is a reminder if you walk in summer parades you gain wellness points! The first parade is the New Haven Canal Days Parade scheduled for Saturday, June 8 at 11:00 am, meet us at New Haven United Methodist Church. Mr. Steve Snodgrass will have all the goodies for us to pass out!

With the ending of the school year, it is important to let go of the past! Do not dwell on things that did not go as planned this year, rather focus on what you can do to improve your present and future! Take time this summer to rest, recharge, and come back better than ever!

1. Tori will be offering different fitness classes and walking groups over the summer, please email Tori for more information and the schedule!

2. If you would like to stay informed over the summer on wellness activities, programs, classes, and ways to earn wellness credits, please send Tori your name, email, and phone number so that she can keep you in the loop!
