It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to the Silver jubilee conference of National Academy of Burns India to be held at PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, India from Feb 3-5, 2017. It is palpable that in recent past, the membership of NABI has increased tremendously. More and more qualified plastic and general surgery colleagues have come forward to treat the burn victims but despite many medical advances in burns management, it continues to remain a challenging problem in our country due to the lack of infrastructure and trained professionals as well as the increased cost of treatment, all of which have an impact on the outcome.
I am sure, the deliberations of the conference will prove fruitful for bringing about further improvement in clinical research and management of burn victims and in providing quality service to the patients .Preparations are underway to make this event a mega success.
Preparations are underway to make this scientific event a mega success by providing a platform to discuss the newer advances and dissipate the knowledge not only to the doctors, but also to the nurses and paramedical staff without whom the burn management can never be complete. Eminent National and overseas faculty are being invited to share their experiences in fundamental and applied burn management.
The organizers have chosen the time which will be pleasant not only within the confines of the conference halls but also outside. This is also the time for 'Basant Ritu' and the Mother Nature will be at its peak in spreading the colors. However, no conference can be considered successful till there is an active participation by the delegates in large numbers.
