Nicole ADAMSON
I have an intimate understanding of netball from a community to national level as a
player, coach and administrator. Combined with my broad depth and business
experience and acumen I believe I will be an asset to the Board of Netball NSW and am
well placed to assist Netball NSW in achieving growth and change in the current sporting
climate.
The current change being experienced in the professional sporting environment,
community sport and in particular women’s sport will present new challenges and I am
well placed to provide direction and input to take Netball NSW into the future as one of
the leading sporting state bodies in Australia. My career in accounting, finance,
valuation, project management and relationship management combined with my
expansive Netball experience will enable a rich contribution to the direction of Netball NSW into the future

Rodney WATSON OAM
As a Director I am committed to ensuring that we have implemented the
appropriate strategic vision to achieve the further development of netball in
NSW. This includes support for infrastructure development, training and
support for officials and programs for athletes. Integral to this vision is the
promotion of netball as a leader in women’s sport that includes Indigenous,
CALD and other identified groups.
With two elite NSW teams in the Suncorp Super Netball competition will
provide more opportunities for athletes, officials and other volunteers that
start at the grassroots level in Associations. Netball NSW has a role in
providing supporting competitions and structures to enable these athletes
and volunteers to achieve their goals.
I believe that I have the appropriate skills to assist in the growth of netball across this State that
is both sustainable and financially viable. As Chair of the Governance Committee I am committed
to the provision of policies that assists our Associations in meeting their obligations to their
members.
I am passionate about our sport. It is significant for teaching teamwork, discipline, responsibility
and respect that ultimately shapes our youth to become community role models. I am committed
to representing our membership to achieve these aims.
