2017 MEMPHIS FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS

TICKET POLICIES/INFOMemphis Athletics Ticket OfficeThe Memphis Athletics Ticket Office provides ticket services online and from its office inside the Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway/University of Memphis Athletics Hall of Fame at 570 Normal Street, Room 163. Office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: 901-678-2331 or 888-867-8636. Email: [email protected].

Children/Infant Admission PolicyAny children ages three and under will be admitted with no ticket, but must sit in the lap of a parent or guardian and may not occupy a seat.

Accessible SeatingAccessible seating is limited. If you need accessible seating, please contact the Athletic Ticket Office as soon as possible prior to the day of the game. Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Will CallFor tickets purchased before the day of the game, tickets may be picked up at the athletic ticket office. On the day of the game, tickets may be claimed at Liberty Bowl Stadium two (2) hours prior to kickoff at Gate 1.

Lost/Destroyed Tickets:All tickets should be treated like cash. The University of Memphis Athletic Ticket Office is not responsible for any tickets that are lost. A $10 fee must be paid for the first duplicate set of season tickets as well as any thereafter. Duplicates will only be issued for reserved season tickets and requested the week of the event. General admission and single game tickets will not be duplicated. The season ticket holder of record must be present to have duplicate tickets issued. No third parties will be issued duplicates for someone else’s season tickets. Please contact the ticket office if you have any questions regarding lost or destroyed tickets.

Refund PolicyNo refunds, exchanges or cancellations are permitted unless we are unable to fill your order. Refunds will not be granted due to a game date or time change.

CLEAR-BAG POLICYTo provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite guest entry into the stadium, Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium will implement a new clear bag policy in 2017-18 for all ticketed Stadium events that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought in to the venue.Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:

• Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.”

• One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).

• Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.

• An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

TAILGATE/PARKING INFO• Parking lots will open depending on game time.

Please check GoTigersGo.com throughout game week for more information.

• Standard parking stalls measure 10’x20’ and tailgating cannot extend beyond the designated space unless additional parking has been purchased.

• Driving lanes must be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles.

• Overnight parking (before or after game day) is not permitted in any lot.

• Charcoal grills are only allowed on concrete and other paved parking stalls. Only propane and electric grills are allowed on grass areas.

• The Tiger Scholarship Fund, M Club, and Alumni hospitality area is located in the Pipkin Building. This is located to the south of Tiger Lane and will open 2 hours before kickoff.

• Gates to Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium open 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

• Tent stakes are NOT allowed in grass areas.

TIGER TRADITIONSTiger WalkApproximately two and a half hours before kickoff, fans line up along Tiger Lane for Tiger Walk. This great tradition involves the Pride of the South Marching Band, the Memphis cheer and pom squads and thousands of Memphis fans. The team and coaches arrive in their team busses and then walk into the stadium through a tunnel of Tigers encouraging them on victory.

Tiger LaneThis is one of the premiere tailgating facilities in the country, with electrical hookups at each spot, grassy areas, trees and access to all of the tailgating activities planned for the day. These prestigious locations stretch from the stadium out to Central Avenue.

March-in Get in your seats early, for as soon as the pre-game pep rally is done on Tiger Lane, the band, cheer, pom squad, and TOM III all march into the stadium to set up for the team introduction.

Tiger SpelloutBe on hand as the band and cheerleaders lead the crowd in the Tiger spellout. T-I-G-E-R-S.

TOM III (Tigers of Memphis)The only live Tiger mascot in Division I football, TOM III is a fixture at Tiger Lane and in the south end zone during the games. Hundreds of thousands of fans have had their picture taken with TOM. As a project of the Highland Hundred, no public or University funds are used to provide for TOM’s needs, and no University resources are required in his care. TOM is a powerful and majestic symbol of the University of Memphis, and his presence presents constant opportunities to educate Tigers fans young and old through the preservation of one of the world’s most recognizable endangered species.

School ColorsThe University of Memphis’ official school colors of Blue and Gray were selected in the early 1900s.The colors were chosen in an effort to show unity in a nation that was still recovering from the effects of the Civil War. The student body thought that by picking the colors of the North and the South, the school would show unity among all students.

Quiet on offense, make noise on defense, especially on third downIn order to make the best impression on the outcome of the game, Tiger fans are encouraged to make a lot of noise when the Tigers are on defense, but be quiet when the Tigers are at the line of scrimmage on offense. That is when the Tigers are at work, assessing the defense and making the necessary adjustments before the next play.
