• CPR, known as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation • important live saving skill which everyone should be aware of even if you’re a
medical professional or not.
2. How to perform CPR in the correct way?
DRCABD - dangerR - ResponseC - Compression A - airwayB - breathing
1. Danger - assess and prevent danger• Make sure surrounding victim are safe• Move victim if not safe• Make sure the crowd are secure
2. Response – victim awareness• Call the victim– by shaking the shoulders gently and say “aih..staga
boss ko ok kah!!?”• Check pulse (neck, etc)• If no response call for help• Make someone to help you call the ambulance and bring the Automatic
External Defibrillator (AED)
• Supine the victim
3. Compression • 30 times compression + 2 breathing = 1 cycle• Put lower third sternum• Pivot from the hips• Keep compressing arm straight• Your shoulder must above chest• 1.5 inches to 2 inches• 80 – 100 compression per minute
4. Airway • Open airway• Head tilt chin lift
5. Breathing – rescue breath• two rescue breath for 1 - 2 second• Feel, listen, and look the chest movement
3. How many cycle?
How many round? • Do chest compression for 5 cycle• 30 compress + 2 air blow = 1 cycle
• After 5 cycle – check pulse
Check pulse
30 times compression
2 x Air blow
Repeat for 5 round
Recovery position
It is very easy to do CPR…Remember DRCAB
