What a year! There is SO much I could share about what has taken place this year and everything God has taught us. GO! Make Disciples Below are highlights from 2016 for some of our

adventures. Kansas, LA, Illinois, Thailand, Myanmar and Tennessee to name a few.

Haskell Indian Nations University In June we visited with our Native American friends at Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas. I learned a great deal on how Jesus is Lord of culture and not a God who wants to destroy it. If we can inject him into cultures and allow people to worship him in culturally relevant ways we begin to experience a whole new depth to worship and love. Watching the First Nations people sing “drum songs” and realizing what will happen when they begin doing this in the name of Jesus was such a revelation. We baptized 3 students at Haskell and commissioned 4 of them as a campus church.

For years I have tried to write music with not much success. However, after an amazing encounter with God in February my heart came alive. Recently I have started writing nearly a song per week!

In addition to writing, I have had some amazing musical experiences. Playing flute with the First Nations people, music with Burmese people in Thailand, and introducing various nations to new forms of worship and songs have all been a part of what God has done through music this year.

This month my friend Jon and I will start recording a collective album of some of the songs God has given to both him and me. Look for updates on this worship album in mid-2017.

saying because they did not believe God healed today. They told me they had known this little girl before we went and when they found her walking in the village they stopped trying to disprove God’s healing power.

In addition to many miracles we saw a great number of baptisms and new church startups. We brought food, love and found new ways to reach new people. God is advancing His kingdom around the world through the hands of those willing to lay down their lives, take up His, and live it out. We may not all be called to go overseas but we should all tell others about Christ and bring Him His inheritance.

The Happy Results In Luke 10, Jesus sends out the 70 and they come

back with great testimony and happiness.

For years I faithfully served in my local church in all capacities until one day I decided there was a better way. Stepping out of church leadership and into kingdom living has brought about a great blessing this year. God continues to open doors and move us into new areas of influence.

This year we were in Myanmar and Thailand on multiple occasions. Many of you heard about the trip in April with Josiah. We saw many great things take place on that trip. One notable miracle that continues to amaze us was the “Polio Child.” I shared the story in our last newsletter about this young girl of 5 years old and how she contracted Polio in her first week of life leaving her nervous system in complete dysfunction. She was healed though the healing was not as instantaneous as we sometimes imagine it should be. On a recent visit I was encouraged to learn that someone had gone behind us to try and verify the things we were

guilt, condemnation or promise of reward. With that said, recently I felt the Holy Spirit encouraging me to read the book I have included with this packet as a Christmas gift to our partners. The book is so much more than a finance book. In fact, I personally don’t think finances are the main topic. The reason I have included this book is because I believe every Christian needs to change their thinking about God’s plans for how to bring about the end time harvest and I believe this is exactly why the Holy Spirit sent this book my way. I encourage you to open your heart to the Holy Spirit as you open this book and let Him speak to you.

God is looking for men and women of earth to partner and agree with His plans. Many of you have business ideas, art, music, buildings, missions, media or other gifting that God has planned in heaven’s storehouse and He is waiting for us to have the courage to agree and step into partnership with Him. Listen to what God has put in your heart and where He wants to take you.

Outside of the book, if you would like to join with us in our mission to a greater level we certainly will put it to use. Right now our combined partners send $900/month toward the mission and it is such a blessing. God has used this amount to help us learn to live in His daily provision and trust Him by adding various one-time gifts, contract opportunities, rebates, refunds, and surprise interest earnings to it. I have included a tentative budget below of some projects and things we will need in 2017. Pray and consider helping me fund it.

Many times in ministry, especially in Western culture, we develop a mindset of a “Merchant/Monk” relationship. We think of partnership more like a marriage relationship where different people have different responsibilities. One party are the money makers and donors while another is the missions team on the ground. But I want to challenge us on this thinking.

Like in marriage, when we think in these terms, we often relinquish responsibility onto another party and develop a “that’s not my role” mentality. People afraid of missions delegate that to missionaries and likewise, missionaries often delegate the resource earning to their “partners.” Because of this we fall short of accomplishing the goals of the body of Christ.

We have to change our thinking from this broken model and begin to live from a model of a single body with a single goal. WE are the body of Christ and WE have a mission. Raising resources and putting them to use in the field is the responsibility of ALL OF US. This is why I have continued to do contract work, build websites and even manage property while still seeking support toward the mission and traveling the world. Partnership should not be a nice way to say donor. It should be a reality of US accomplishing a mission.

I am really not much for finance books, especially the kinds meant to guilt or compel believers to increase giving to the ministry or missionary who offered it. In fact, I really have not read many. Our giving should come from a love and desire to glorify God, not out of

2017 Budget and Projects Needs

As we turn the year to 2017 there are a number of things we know we will experience based on this first year. These are costs in addition to providing for the family. One item to note is we are hoping to allow for the family to travel with Justin more often. In 2016 this was not possible due to cost. We have been asking God for a conversion van and/or and RV to make travel easier domestically. A few items we anticipate in 2017 are:

• 1 Full Family Trip to Myanmar

• 2 Individual trips to Myanmar

• 1 Individual trip to Israel

• 12 domestic trips

International Travel: $18,000

Domestic Travel: $12,000

Trainings: $6,000

• 10 trainings in US

• A conversion van for family travel

• 35 micro-church plants

Micro-Church Plants: $8,200

Conversion Van: $20,000

God has been blessing us with new opportunities to earn more for His kingdoms advancement. In December 2015 I had a job that provided financial abundance for the kingdom but limited me on my availability to reach people. So in January, I left full-time employment and stepped out in faith at the calling of God. My technology skillset has allowed me to work on the road some of the time and I recently took on a great opportunity to care for a businessman’s property near our house. It is great part-time income to add to the cause and gives me an outlet to play with power equipment. Something I LOVE!

One of the greatest challenges we have currently is in knowing we have opportunities and the time to advance the kingdom but find ourselves limited in resources to do so. As you pray for us this year, let’s pray as a team for greater abundance for the kingdom advancement around the world for all ministries showing the world who Jesus really is. In one generation God brought all the financial resources of the world together for Solomon to build him a temple. But the temple was meant to point to Jesus. How much greater a thing for God to bring all of the worlds resources together for a massive end-time harvest to reach the entire world in a single generation. We already know it can happen through multiplication. The strategy is in place, connections are in place, and things are turning in the direction of multiplication. Let’s believe God for the abundance necessary to execute the plans. Let’s bring Jesus the inheritance he deserves! The worship and obedience of every nation!
