Customer Training Overview

NOV provides customers with a state-of-the-art learning experience through a blended approach to training. Expert content developers apply proven learning theory to design engaging and interactive training that participants can apply on the job. With customized training solutions designed to meet your specific requirements, we can fill knowledge and skill gaps through technology-based training. And by offering instruction that provides a deeper understanding of optimization, maintenance, and servicing for your operation, we can help ensure you receive the highest return on your investments.

Service Equipment and Tool Servicing Training Service training is based on a hands-on approach in which technicians spend the majority of the time training in a shop environment. Technicians are trained in the processes detailed in our service manuals, safety best practices, and service quality standards and procedures. After completion of a service training course, technicians are more aware of the hazards in their work environment, more efficient, and turn out the highest quality product.

Technology Training NOV believes in letting instructors do what they do best – engaging learners with real-world applications, and providing hands-on experience when applicable. The technical courses provided cover a variety of topics, including tool-specific information, drilling theory, and scientific principles. Pre-work and post-work activities are incorporated in many of our courses to capitalize on time spent in the classroom and to improve the retention of knowledge.

If dry lectures are not for you, you’ve come to the right place.

Immersive Training NOV’s courses are structured to provide the best learning experience possible by carefully organizing the flow of information and including interactions, 3D animations, video, photographs, and assessments as appropriate.
