Judges from a wide variety of Courts have agreed to be accompanied by a reader for the day. This day provides readers with an opportunity to experience the Judge's perspective, both physically and intellectually. The purpose of the day with judges is to provide insight into the judicial officer’s perception of the advocacy process from the vantage point of the Bench. From a provided list, readers select and then make their own arrangements to meet with a Judge (in Chambers) before Court, to discuss the matter or matters listed for the day. Readers accompany the Judge to Court for the balance of the day. Judges not on the list should not be approached Note: If the case settles or the lists finish very early, readers should take formal leave of their Judge and then sit in on proceedings in other Court(s).
