2015 USEF Second Level Tests Diagrams and Call Sheets Please feel free to use these diagrams for personal use. Not for commercial use. May not be posted on a web site. May be shared with friends, students, and trainers. Accuracy is not guaranteed. If you are a visual person like me, it may be hard for you to memorize tests from the call sheets. I find that by diagramming the test side-by-side with the directive, it helps me memorize the test better. I hope it helps you too. You might also want to check out apps for your tablet at EquiApps.com http://equiapps.com/usef-equitests/ Regarding the new 2015 tests, Janet Foy writes in the February 2015 issue of Dressage Today: "Second Level is quite different, due to the addition of more counter canter and the removal of renvers. In Second Level, Test One, an old pattern remerges. There is a serpentine of three loops in canter with a simple change each time you cross centerline. Canter mediums are on a short line. The trot work includes shoulder-in and the medium trots are on a short diagonal. This test also includes a rein back. Second Level, Test Two has shoulder-in and travers. The new counter-canter pattern rides really well and is very inviting for the horse. Riders need to be careful about the accuracy of the half 20-meter circle to the travers. Mediums in trot and canter are now on full lines. The three-loop serpentine in canter from the old Second Level, Test One has been moved to this test." Good luck with all of your training! -Alison May [email protected]
