Dear Tufts Alumni and Friends,We are planning a great Tufts Medicine Reunion this year. I am pleased to invite you and your family to

attend the many activities occurring April 24–26, 2015.

In addition to meeting up with classmates to reminisce and learn about the great changes that have

taken place at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM), we are planning a fun and interesting

weekend with activities including guest speakers on the history of the medical school, the Boston

Dispensary, the Floating Hospital, and Tufts Medical Center. We hope that this will serve to remind us of

our wonderful roots in patient care, research, and teaching.

Along with this, we are introducing two new educational opportunities for Tufts alumni. While we

continue to provide teaching and educational activities at the medical school, the Alumni Council and

Dean Harris Berman are embarking on two new projects, one of which will reach nationally while the

other will focus on global opportunities. Each of these exciting endeavors will involve patient care and

teaching opportunities for underserved populations while utilizing talented TUSM alumni.

I’m also pleased to unveil the Reunion Giving Awards—every gift, pledge, and bequest made to a Tufts

school or program will count. It’s a nice way to celebrate your reunion and make an immediate impact

on TUSM.

Please join your classmates, current medical students, the TMAA Council, faculty, and administrators

this spring in Boston. I look forward to seeing you in April.

Sincerely,

Thomas R. Hedges III, M.D., M75

President, Tufts Medical Alumni Association

Reunion Giving AwardsNew this year!

With your gift, everybody wins—donating supports

TUSM through financial aid, library enhancements, faculty

support, research, and public health initiatives. Plus, you

and your classmates have a chance to take home an award

during Reunion Weekend. There are four different awards,

that means four chances to win and every gift, pledge, and

bequest made by you and your classmates to a Tufts school

or program will count towards your class total. For more

information go to: medicine.tufts.edu/reunion.

AttireThere is no formal dress code for any Reunion program.

Most attendees wear cocktail or business attire to the Friday

evening reception. The Saturday evening reception and

class dinners are black tie optional. Typically, there is a good

mixture of black tie and cocktail attire. Attire for other

activities/events is at your discretion.
