There were 645 drivers involved in 511 motor vehicle crashes in Crawford County. Of those crashes, 1 were classified as fatal, resulting in 1 fatalities. An additional 103 persons were injured.
Crawford County experienced the highest number of motor vehicle crashes (68) in November, the highest number of fatal crashes (1) and the highest number of persons killed (1) in May.
Michigan driver statistics indicate 5.5 percent of licensed drivers in Crawford County were age 16-20, and 10.4 percent of drivers in crashes were also in that age group.
