The Rogue Vest was a constant part of our

apparel this fishing season on our small

commercial salmon troller based in Sitka.

We never left the dock without having

them on, and they were never removed

during the work day, as you know can

be 14-16 hours during the peak bites.

In rough seas I get thrown from one side

of the trolling pit to the other, usually with

a gaff, hook, or fish (or all 3) in my hands,

and the cushioning effect of the jacket

helped minimize the usual damage I get

on rough days! The black color was nice to

hide the stains; and with daily washdowns

our jackets still look nice. They are exactly

the item we have been looking for.
