CSCC RESOURCES
Columbus State C.A.R.E.S. consists of faculty, staff, administrators, and
students working together to support students facing extraordinary
situations. If you are facing financial, academic, and/or personal difficulties
in college, Columbus State wants to help you navigate resources and
opportunities. At Columbus State, there are caring Advocates prepared to
respond to you and your extraordinary situations. It is
up to you to take action and make connections to seal your success.
Student Support ServicesEligible participants in the program will have the opportunity to receive one to one advising on a regular basis, have access to tutoring, mentoring and many other academic related support services.Services provided by SSS:

They are phenomenal resources for your students to receive
help navigating the college, accessing student support
services, and getting involved in campus activities.
The Peer Advocates are certified as Ohio Benefits
Bank Counselors, which means they can assist students with
applying for food, utilities, and cash assistance programs
available in the state of Ohio.
Peer Advocates hold office hours in Aquinas Hall 126
(Columbus campus only at this time). Walk-in office hours
are posted outside of AQ126.
