CONFERENCE SPEAKER PROFILES

Jonathan Higham, Logistics Director, BCA Logistics joined BCA in 2006 and is based at the BCA Logistics headquarters in Birmingham. Prior to this he held the role of BCA Director - Remarketing & Business Services.

BCA Logistics offer a full range of services and solutions including vehicle inspections, collection and deliveries, vehicle demonstrations and refurbishment and is the UK’s number one provider of vehicle remarketing logistics services for the automotive sector.

Jonathan joined BCA from Isotrak Limited, where he was Managing Director. He is a FCCA qualified accountant.

Joe George serves as senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Cox Automotive, the largest automotive services provider in the world.

With over 20 well known organisations in the Cox Automotive group (including Manheim, Autotrader.com, Motors.co.uk and NextGear Capital) and operating locations in 16 countries, Joe drives strategic market development activity on a grand scale.

Prior to this role, Joe served as senior vice president of Product Development for Manheim, where he was responsible for the evolution of Manheim’s digital marketplace. He’s been with the Cox Automotive organisation for 24 years.

CONFERENCE SPEAKER PROFILES

Debapratim De (Debo) is a senior economist and analyst in Deloitte’s Economics & Markets Research team.

He advises clients on macroeconomic developments in the UK and other advanced economies and is an author of the Deloitte CFO Survey. Debo holds a bachelors degree in computer science, a masters degree in physics and a masters degree in managerial economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Debo worked at Microsoft.

Professor Jim Saker is the Director of the Centre for Automotive Management, as well as the Ford Industrial Chair of Retail Management.

With over 20 years in the automotive industry, he is a well known commentator on a diverse rage of issues affecting the market and he enjoys a very close working relationship with the sector as a whole.

In 2004, 2005 and 2006 he was placed in the Automotive Industry Power 100, a listing of the top most influential people in the sector, and he is a member of the UK Government’s Leadership and Management Panel.

CONFERENCE SPEAKER PROFILES

Adrian Rushmore, is Operations Director for CAP.

Adrian has been spearheading the development of a number of new services in his role as Operations Director at CAP Automotive. These include the complete overhaul of future vehicle value forecasts, the continued development of used vehicle values, incorporating the unique Black Book Live, and the creation of an exciting new product set that introduces some new technology to the dealer, allowing them to sell cars more profitably and more efficiently.

His first 27 years were spent with Glass’s in a wide range of editorial roles which saw a succession of valuation initiatives covering current and future values.

Graeme Potts, CEO of Eden Group

Graeme Potts is currently the CEO of Eden Group, one of the foremost automotive dealerships in the UK. Formerly the CFO of the Reg Vardy Group and Managing Director of Inchcape. Graeme sits on a wide range of corporate and charitable boards notably the BEN Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund.

Robert Hazelwood, is Commercial Director for BCA.

Robert Hazelwood has been Commercial Director for UK Operations at British Car Auctions Limited since September 8, 2014. He is responsible for BCA's Sales Operations and Remarketing Services business as British Car Auctions continues to meet and exceed growth aspirations in terms of vehicle volumes and automotive service provision.

He served as a Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars at Volkswagen AG since May 1, 2012. He served as Managing Director of MG Rover UK and Managing Director of Ferrari/ Maserati UK which was part of Inchcape.

EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

• The main conference space at Cranmore Park is very sizeable and will contain all the day’s activities in one modern, open and comfortable environment

• All exhibitors will benefit from being located very close to the presentation stage and seating area, thus providing maximum exposure to delegates throughout the day.

• The VRA have negotiated the use of modern turnkey shell scheme units for use by all exhibitors. The standard exhibition space will be 4m length x 2m width x 2m height and can be extended as required at a very reasonable rate up to 6m in length.

• All exhibitor stands will have 1m by 2m height dividing panels on each side which will be dressed in the exhibitor’s own branding. Additional branding can be provided per panel - all artwork to be supplied by exhibitor
