be used to meet the (SA-CE) requirements. AAPM is offering Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs) which allow for interactive learning and self-assessment of knowledge gained during designated sessions, submitted for ABR approval.
Individuals were required to pre-register for an audience response unit (ARU) to be used during the session. You will not be able to register for SAMs onsite. You may go to the SAMs sessions of your choice. During the session, the speaker will ask interactive questions. You will be able to respond using your ARU. The audience feedback will appear in real time on the screen. There is no pass/fail and you will not be graded on your responses.
At the end of the meeting, please return your ARU to the SAMs counter located in the registration area.
The AAPM transfers SAMs Credits to the ABR via the CME Gateway. To confirm attendance, attendees MUST complete the online evaluation for the SAMs session attended.

MONDAY, JULY 21
Partners in Solutions (PinS) offer a new way for physicists to interact with our vendors. Vendors will provide physics-level applications training classes in a special-purpose lecture room built on the exhibit floor. These are not sales pitches but practical information for the clinical physicist from the people who know the systems in depth. CE credit will be offered. Come learn with us!

Dosimetry Check is a patient treatment quality assurance software package that will reconstruct the dose to the patient’s CT’s from measuring the radiation fields that come out of a conventional linac with the EPID or TomoTherapy both during a dry run without the patient and images integrated during treatment (Transit InVivo Dosimetry), for both IMRT and RapidArc/VMAT. The dose is directly compared to the planning system dose including three dimensional gamma analysis.
