Opening their new “TEBOLON” factory in 1999, TAYA extends its role as an eminent specialist of anti-

rust coating treatment initially for use on its own bicycle chains. Chains are very frequently used

in salty, polluted and acid / alkaline situations and Tebolon coating has brought huge gains for

cyclists especially in coastal areas and wherever severe weather conditions prevail and salt is used

to keep roads free from ice and snow. TAYA’s expertise in this area has enabled the company to

fulfil demand for this coating for other bicycle components too. The intensive and continuous R &

D has resulted in GST, Greener Surface Treatment. This is a new more environmental friendly coating

process free from environmentally damaging hexavalent chromium and GST rust proofs steel for up

to 1000 hours of salt spray tests. (For normal nickel plating, max. 45 hours rust resistance under SST)

Secondly as every serious cyclist knows, durability and strength is one of the main requirements of

a chain. TAYA’s patented and registered Diamond Hard Tech (DHT) treatment, is an extraordinary

technology process, which means TAYA is able to provide high-end advanced chain life!

Thirdly TAYA manufactures colored chains for both single speeds and derailleur systems giving our

customers the possibility to personalise their bikes. The excellent low-friction, high adhesion qualities

of Teflon further enhance the experience of “colorful cycling”

Nobody will doubt that the chain durability is one

chain life influences importantly to the worn condition

of cassettes and chainwheel. Excessive extend, and

durability enhancing treatment to the bike fans who

look for excellent performance in anti-elongation, and

minimize the wear of the gear group as well. Based

on the smooth shifting function, »Diamond Hard«

allows TAYA high-end products to compare with the

branded chain products in the market - with splendid

performance in durability.

To reach minimum wear in chain parts, »Diamond

Hard« treatment is adapted not only on the pin, but

on all other related parts, increasing the hardness up

to 25%, and prolongs chain life up to 3 times more.

Thanks to »Diamond Hard« treatment, the chain life of

TAYA products is designed between 3,000km~5,000km
