2014 Orlando Residents Crime Survey The purpose of the survey was to identify Orlando residents’ opinions on crime and how safe they feel in their own homes and neighborhoods. Participants were recruited through Survey Monkey Audience. 216 people participated in the survey, of which 210 completed the full survey. This study was conducted from December 12, 2013 to January 3, 2014. This report includes demographic information about survey participants as well as their answers to key survey questions.

2014 Orlando Residents Crime Survey

The purpose of the survey was to identify Orlando residents’ opinions on crime and how safe they feel in their own homes and neighborhoods. Participants were recruited through Survey Monkey Audience. 216 people participated in the survey, of which 210 completed the full survey. This study was conducted from December 12, 2013 to January 3, 2014. This report includes demographic information about survey participants as well as their answers to key survey questions.

This study includes a margin of error ±6.9%. The margin of error represents the confidence level in data collected through the survey and is calculated n = N / 1 + N(e)2; where n = the number of respondents, N = the population size, and e = margin of error. A lower margin of error represents a higher confidence in the survey results representing the actual population.
