2014 Idaho Envirothon IDAHO ENVIROTHON MAY 2014 Gooding High School Wins Idaho 2014 Envirothon Congratulations to Gooding High School (Team A) for placing first at the Idaho 2014 Envirothon! Under the guidance of advisers Becky and Dave Freiberg, the students came well prepared and ready to compete with the other 17 teams present. The team earned a total of 635.6 points in the competition, as well as earning first place in the Conservation Project Poster. Gooding had a unique opportunity to include a foreign exchange student on their team this year. Nicolai Lohse, from Birkeroed, Denmark said: "When I went to Envirothon, I had no idea what to expect, but it was a lot of fun and a great ending to my exchange student program. My trip wouldn't have been complete without Envirothon. I met a lot of great people and the prize money was an unexpected treat. Thank you!" Also, the Gooding High School C Team won second place in the competition. Congratulations Gooding!!
