TYPE OF PRESSNational Pawnbroker magazine is a 4-color publication printed using the Specifications for Web Offset Printing (SWOP) standards. Advertisers are required to submit advertising insertions digitally.

TYPE OF FILES ACCEPTED AND SPECSSubmit press-quality PDFs of at least 300 dpi. Do not use down-sampling or graphics or printer’s marks (cut lines, bleed lines, registration symbols, etc.) Use embedded fonts (or convert to paths) and graphics and document bleed settings, set to 0.125” on all sides.

If submitting an InDesign file, package the file and send the entire package file folder. Native file(s) fully linked to all native and support files, including fonts, should be included in package. Also, include a PDF for proofing. Graphics should be spec’d for a 133-line screen at a minimum size of 300 dpi. Images need to be converted to CMYK prior to inclusion in PDFs or submissions.

FONTS All screen and printer fonts must be included in the file that is submitted. All fonts must be OpenType (preferred), PostScript Type 1 or PostScript Type 3 fonts—avoid Truetype fonts. Type can also be converted to paths prior to submission.

Under provisions of Rule 4167-4-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code, public employers must post this notice (or facsimile) in a conspicuous place where they customarily post such notices to their employees. Minimum reproduction size of this poster is8 ½ x 14 inches. Alternatively, employers can give a copy of this notice to each employee at the time of hiring and at least annually thereafter.

Public employers shall provide a place of employment free from recognized hazards and be in compliance with the Public Employment Risk Reduction Program (PERRP) occupational safety and health standards, rules and regulations.

Refusal to Work � A public employee acting in good faith has the right to refuse to work under conditions he or she reasonably believes present an imminent danger of death or serious harm. WAGE AGREEMENT: No employer shall give employment to a minor without agreeing with him/her as to the wages or compensation he/she shall receive for each day, week, month, year or per piece for work performed.REST PERIOD: No employer shall employ a minor more than 5 consecutive hours without a rest period of at least 30 minutes.LIST OF MINORS EMPLOYED: Employer shall keep a list of minors employed at each establishment and a list must be posted in a conspicuous place to which all minor employeeshave access.TIME RECORDS: Every employer shall keep a time book or other written record showing actual starting and stopping time of each work and rest period.
