Helping students hone their skills in place, values, fractions, measurements, geometry, money, operations, patterns, and probability, The Math Maniac takes students to new levels of learning while keeping each child on the edge of their seat Bits ‘N Pieces Puppet Theatre presents Rip Van Winkle: Washington Irving’s Great Sportin’ Adventure December 15, 10:45am Capitol Theatre Curriculum Connections: History, Language Arts & Literacy, Theater, Visual Arts Grades: K – 5 This original musical featuring a cast of giant puppets, shadows, and traditional puppets brings to life American author Washington Irving’s famous short story “Rip Van Winkle.” When Rip Van Winkle and his hunting dog Wolfie get lost in the woods in the dark of the moon, they happen to meet Captain Henry Hudson. When Rip accepts Henry’s challenge to a magical bowling match he learns you have to work hard to make your dreams come true.
