it doesn't do everything for you

archivematica develops micro-services and workflows that allow archival decision-making at

multiple processing points

keeping the archivist in the system, not automating them out of their role

this means archivists still have a lot to do even with a powerful preservation system in place

these policies are implemented in the Preservation Planning tab of the dashboard, in the Format Policy Registry (FPR)
