Canted Coil Springs (Slanted Coil Springs): Used as energizers are Slanted Coil or Canted Coil springs that produce a very flat load curve when compressed. They are used to energize U-cup seals and other components and provide constant predictable loads throughout their very wide deflection range. Made from 300 series stainless steel and other alloys, Canted-Coil springs provide corrosion resistance in severe service applications. They are available in Light, Medium and High load designs in both standard and custom sizes to meet your specific application requirements. Flat Load Versus Deflection Curve.

Materials: 302 SS, 316 SS, Alloy C-276, DIN EN & ASTM Alloys, Beryllium Copper & Other Alloys

Canted Coil Springs (Slanted Coil Springs): Slanted Coil / Canted Coil spring products are now offered with Gold, Silver and Nickel plating.

Markets: for use in Electronic and Semiconductor, applications such as Electronic Connectors and EMI shielding for latching, holding and contact components when predictable and constant loads are required.

Sizes: from 1/32” to 3/8” radial cross sections in multiple loads as small as .050” inside diameters.

V-Spring

The V-Spring is a cantilever beam design made from stainless steel or other alloys that is applied as a radial or axial compression energizer inside of U-Cup type seals. The V-Shape geometry provides a moderate load over a wide deflection range and is used in dynamic and static applications. The V-spring is available in six standard sizes and can be ordered by the foot or cut and welded to specific diameters. Custom sizes and materials are also available.
