THE PEACOCK

MADELEINE VAN DER KNOOP

Belgium sculptor, Madeleine van der Knoop is internationally known for

her impressive sculptures of bronze birds. Madeleine van der Knoop has a

particular gift for catching reality. She knows how to express what she sees

with good proportions, reflecting the rhythm of the animal and the friendly

behaviour of human being. Finally she always gives a personal touch to her

sculptures.

For Daum, she creates her third creations, the Peacock. Impressive by its

size, the luminosity and colors are very close to reality.

VINTAGE HORSE DECANTER DAUM WORKSHOP

Daum workshop creates a horse decanter with the

dress and cap are in pate de cristal, to celebrate the

coming of the Year of the Horse.

People born in the year of the horse are sanguine,

sharp-minded, gifted with a silver tongue, and have

acute insight. They are vigorous and energetic with

their most striking point lies in their strong self-

confidence, gentleness, and their high intelligence.

The amber pate de cristal depicts the fiery passion of a

horse person makes this decanter an impressive piece.

SMALL MONSTERA WALL LAMPS & WALL LEAVES EMILIO ROBBA

Since 1878, Daum has made the dreams of artists come true with colors, and

all along it has always pay tribute to the nature.

Daum collaborates with French artist, Emilio Robba, the renowned great

sculptor of flowers, to sublimate the « pâte de cristal » with a common

fascination for nature.

Emilio Robba thinks his floral creations like an architect, so as to reveal the

beauty of nature : a pure and magical universe.

This great talents have come up with the Monstera collection : a world of

imagination, Emilio Robba’s seventh collaboration with Daum, depicts a

world of endless inspiration better than nature itself. With the rave

responses of the Monstera Green and Amber collection introduced in Spring

Summer 2013, the new grey and white colors give a new sophistication.

FOUR SEASONS VASES SHOGO KARIYAZAKI

Japanese artist, Shogo Kariyazaki, is one of the major current masters of

Ikebana, a particularly popular figure in Japan.

He has signed floral ornament for the royal wedding in 1993 and the 10th

anniversary year of the imperial throne in 1999.

Shogo Kariyazaki’s hands are considered as magic. Feed ny tradition, the

artist lets very actual imagination run wild. His installations brings floral

art a new dimension, giving a real life among the different contemporary

expression ways, exploring our relationship to every space.

For Daum, Shogo Kariyazaki creates The Four Seasons Collection, made up

of four vases and one limited edition of 8.

NAHAR & AROD SUSAN LEYLAND

Since a small girl , British artist, Susan Leyland has her love for horses and

was given her first pony by her grandfather, a veterinarian, at the age of

four. Her school years were spent away from home but as well as studying,

she particularly enjoyed painting and horse riding. Susan became a riding

instructor and she taught horse riding for fourteen years until, in 2000, she

decided to dedicate my time to sculpture, combining my two loves - horses

and art.

Susan Leyland first exhibited her work at Alan Kluckow Fine Art,

Sunningdale, in an exhibition entitled Equus, featuring the horse in art, in

November 2005. It immediately met with critical acclaim.

For Daum, she created Nahar & Arod, two horses, which by their light

allure keep the mystery and the magical aspect of the animal.

Internationally renowned French sculptor, Natacha Mondon works in

numerous fields: as a sculptor in architecture, town planning, theatre and

interior design. She has an artistic universe which is high in colour, cheerful

and filled with energy and emotion.

For Daum for the fourth time, Natacha creates Alliance, the fufillment of love

in harmony circle where tight lines embrace each other. Enjoy the light

passing through the empty and dynamic space formed by these two bodies

which makes one.

BORN WILD RICHARD ORLINSKI

French artist, Richard Orlinski sculpts to sublimate

reality and create works of art alive, beautiful and timeless

that arouses emotion in the eyes of the other.

Deeply rooted in his time, Richard Orlinski has been

classified an important contemporary artist in France.

His works of art, designed around the "Born Wild"

concept, reflect fundamental values in a contemporary

style, which never yields to the trash, the extravagance or

ephemeral.

This season for Daum, Richard Orlinski continues his

iconic ‘Born Wild’ concept of King Kong, Panther and

Crocodile, introducing new colours of orange and red, and

a new size to the existing eclectic blues he had done for

Daum. A remarkable new addition of new attitudes.

Internationally renowned French painter and

sculptor, Jean-Philippe Richard’s favourite subject is

Women. His creations are delicate, soft and graceful,

where the women are characterised by their slender,

sensuous forms.

Fine-featured faces with eyes shut or half-closed, his

women display a tender assurance and a moving

serenity. They have elongated, slender figures,

exaggeratedly long or round; they are light, smooth

and carnal. His sculptures are a mixture of

gentleness and strength, mystery and eternity.

The worldwide renowned Japanese stylist and

artist Hanae Mori is fascinated by the world of

fashion since childhood.

Hanae Mori is a real bond between the Western

and the Eastern world. All her creations are a mix

of beauty and tradition coming from her Japanese

culture.

This winter, Hanae Mori creates the second

Butterfly Soliflore for Daum, a spell-binding

sculpture between butterfly and kimono,

sublimated by the fineness of the movement and

the delicacy of the crystal, with a golden node
