THE FIRST CDI 1* ADULT AMATEUR SWEEPSTAKES!
Have you ever wondered why the FEI has CDI Dressage divisions forOpen, Junior, Young Riders, Children and Ponies, but no division
for Adult Amateurs? So did we. Currently the FEI level Adult Amateurrider has the choice of showing in the National FEI classes or enteringthe CDI and riding against professionals competing for national andinternational standings.
In the US the adult amateur division at all levels, is the backbone of thedressage community, but after reaching the FEI level there are limitedadditional goals available within the division. We’d love to be able tooffer the adult amateur enhanced competitive options.
What did we do?
We have introduced the first ever CDI 1* ADULT AMATEUR SWEEPSTAKES
Eastern States Dressage and CTA, and Centerline Events have added a CDI 1* to our currentCDI 3*
The CDI 1* will be open to all but the Adult Amateur competitors will be pinned separatelyand receive separate cash awards at each show.
Why?
We want to provide an opportunity for our adult amateurs to compete at a CDI on a levelplaying field. If competitors support it, we hope the FEI will create a separate Adult Amateurdivision.
If you want to win even more money, enter BOTH the ESDCTA CDI 1* Allentown May23-26, 2013 AND the Centerline Events CDI 1* Saugerties August 15-18, 2013. Scores
will be cumulative and you’ll be eligible for the series end ADULT AMATEURSWEEPSTAKES.
The final cash distribution for the CDI AA classes will be on our websiteswww.esdcta.org/www.centerlineevents.com by May 1, 2013.
So, all of you adult amateur FEI riders, take the plunge and enter the CDI1* for a chance to win big!
