NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE MANAGEMENT As of 13 October 2013, 6:00 PM
NDRRMC Operations Center • The NDRRMC Operations Center is under RED ALERT STATUS effective 8:00 AM,
11 October 2013 • Continuously monitors and disseminates Weather Bulletins, General Flood Advisories
and 24-Hour Public Weather Forecasts to all RDRRMCs/OCDRCs through SMS, facsimile and websites for further dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) from the provincial down to the municipal levels
• Directed RDRRMCs concerned through the OCD Regional Centers to undertake precautionary measures in their respective areas of responsibilities (AOR)
• At 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM, 12 October 2013, press conferences were conducted at the NDRRMC Conference Room to discuss the effects and response measure undertaken
• At 10:30 AM, 13 October 2013, a press conference wa s conducted at the NDRRMC Conference Room to give updates and discuss the effects and response measures undertaken
PAGASA • Continuously provide situation updates, Weather Bulletins, gale warning, rainfall
advisory and flood advisories • On 10 October 2013, PAGASA has commenced the Flood Precaution Period of the
Dam Discharge Warning Operation for the Magat River Basin due to the weather disturbance
DSWD • PhP119.57 million worth of emergency relief resources has been prepositioned by
