Mattes Couture Collection Fleece Blankets and Boots

As an extension of the Mattes Couture Collection, Mattes has developed the MER-System, a range of fleece quarter and shoulder rugs, and full exercise and dress sheets, as well as boots. Produced in Europe from the highest quality EHQ-Fleece made exclusively for Mattes, in 17 of the top selling Cou-ture Collection color selections currently available in our pads. All the op-tions of customization with pipings and bindings available for the pads are also available for all styles of the blanketing system.

The MER-System is a combination of the MER- Square or Eurofit pads and a matching exercise rug. The system consists of a rug attached at the rear of the pad, as well as the option of a breast rug attached to the front of the pad.

To determine the sizes of MATTES®blankets, sheets, and, rugs we need the distance between the highest point of the withers along the spine to the onset of the tail root, and the size and style of the pad.

Designed by Peter Mattes, these velvet pads are the newest in a long line of products, created as all Mattes pads with the horse in mind, but with the luxurious feel and rich colors sure to attract the most fashion-forward of equestrians. The Mattes PM System was developed in conjunction with Peter Menet, designer of Amerigo and Vega saddles. The PM System Half Pads have all the same features and benefits of the original Mattes Half Pads, but the billet straps are replaced by a button hole on each side that goes completely through the pad.
