    Ever since I was in college and went

    to a live Tony Robbins event (this islike 25 years ago), I always said tomysel that one day Id like to becomeas powerul on stage as Tony and even

    Well, I came really close to not

    only meeting him this week, but alsospeaking WITH HIM on his stage here

    in Australia.

    I got a call rom his manager, who had heard about

    She asked i I could put together a proposal tospeak at Tonys event next week in Melbourne, butshe wanted me to adapt my presentation to online

    marketing.

    I was so excited to even be asked that I barely sleptlast Thursday night.

    The next day I sent her a proposal and adapted my

    presentation as well as I could to meet her criteria.She wrote me back asking me to make it more

    technical, more towards SEO and pay per clickadvertising. O course, that was way too much o

    a stretch rom my core expertise (I dont think sheexactly understood what I actually teach at the core)

    insight. Your intuition leads you to new ideas, conceptsand breakthroughs. Sometimes, an intuitive fash willenable you to see a situation completely dierently andsolve it on a completely dierent level. Einstein was

    reerring to intuition when he said, No problem can besolved on the same level at which you meet it.

    In breakthrough thinking, we are taught to redenea problem and take it to a higher level in order to nda solution or it. Since the more you do o what youredoing, the more youll get o what youve got, trying

    to solve your current problem at your current level isoten an exercise in rustration. You can unlock yourintuition by using your imagination to think about

    your problem in a completely dierent way.

    There are two major types o imagination that youuse continually, both o which require the highest

    use o your intuitive powers. They are rst, synthetic

    imagination and, second, creative imagination.

    Synthetic imagination is your ability to assembleexisting pieces o knowledge and inormation intonew orms. It is very much like taking all the pieceso a jigsaw puzzle, having a clear idea o the picture

    or goal that you want to accomplish and assemblingthem into a single piece.

    This orm o imagination is oten called, integrative

    intelligence. It is one o the highest orms o intelligenceor success and achievement anywhere. Integrativeintelligence is dened as your ability to integrate a

    large number o dierent pieces o inormation into asingle precept or decision and action. It is your abilityto recognize and sort many dierent acts and insightstogether, emphasizing some and discarding others, in

    the process o making the correct decision. This ormo intelligence is extremely valuable in ast-moving,fuid situations that require your considering a large

    number o dierent pieces o inormation in makinga decision.

    It has been estimated that you need between

    20,000 and 50,000 bits o inormation at your disposalto be really successul in any eld o endeavor. Welive in the inormation age, and knowledge is the rawmaterial o production and value in this age. So the

    more dierent bits or bytes o inormation that youhave, the more eective your integrative intelligence,or synthetic imagination, will be.

    The people who rise to the top o any eld oendeavor are invariably those who know more thanothers. In act, the division in our society today is not

    between those who have more and have less butbetween those who know more and those who knowless. One o your jobs is to be continually gatheringadditional bits o practical and useul inormation so

    that you have plenty o dierent ideas and concepts todraw upon when you are wrestling with any problemor striving toward any goal. Your intuition then goes

    to work or you by helping you quickly sort out therelevant acts and giving you the answers you needwhen you need them.

    The more ideas you expose yoursel to, the greaterthe probability that the right idea will appear at theright time. When it does, your intuition will help youto recognize the idea and integrate it into everything

    else you are doing.

    The second orm o imagination is creative

    imagination. This is a higher orm o imagination

    where intuition plays an even more important partCreative imagination reers to your ability to come upwith completely new and dierent ideas and concepts

    to solve your problems and achieve your goals. It isthe highest orm o imagination and is responsible orall the great breakthroughs in science, technology, art

    music, literature, and medicine. The most successumen and women o all time have been those whohave deliberately trained themselves to tap into theircreative imagination on a regular basis. And so can

    you, i you learn how.

    Your creative imagination is the source o alhunches, inspirations, imagination, fashes o insigh

    and new understandings o complex conceptsThe cultivation and development o your creativeimagination can enable you to make more progress in

    one or two years than the average person might makein ten or twenty. And your creativity, your intuitivesense is like a muscle. It grows with use. The more youpractice with it and rely on it, the stronger it becomes

    and the aster it acts or you.

    Men and women who have highly developed

    imaginations have oten reached the point where theycompletely trust their intuition, their inner voices, toguide them in every situation. They never speak or actuntil they eel an inner urging to do so. They know that

    their intuition will always bring them exactly the righanswer, at exactly the right time.

    Your intuition is your direct pipeline to a orm o

    intelligence that is completely beyond your consciousbrain. It is accessed by your subconscious mind

    which his controlled by the thoughts you think and

    the belies you hold in your conscious mind. The

    more you arm and visualize your desired goals in

    your conscious mind, the more readily they are picked

    up by your subconscious mind and the more rapidly

    your intuition or creative imagination is triggered.

    Successul, eective, happy people are those who have

    gotten onto the beam o their own intuitive senses andwho rely continuously on their inner guidance. And

    they seldom make mistakes.

    In your lietime, you have made a lot o decisions,

    some o them right and some o them wrong. But when

    your intuition tells you to do or to not do something,

    it is always correct. I you have ever gone against your

    intuition, your inner voice, havent you regretted it?

    Wherever you have pushed aside that nagging inner

    eeling, hasnt it come back to haunt you? This is

    because your intuition is always correct. It always

    gives you exactly the right answer or you at any giventime, and in any given situation. One o the smartest

    things that you can ever do is to listen careully to your

    intuition and to postpone making a decision until you

    have an inner sense o what choices are correct.

    You will oten nd that your intuition will urge you

    to either speak up or to remain silent in a social or

    business situation. Later, it will turn out that that was

    exactly the right thing to do. In retrospect, you will

    nd that your intuitive learning has always been more

    accurate than anything that you could think o with

    your conscious mind.

    All the great writers, composers, artists, and scientists

    have developed the habit o listening to their intuition.

    You have access to the same intuitive powers as the

    smartest men and women who ever lived.

    By the way, research shows that men and women,

    tested separately, have intuitions that are equally

    accurate. They seem to come up with the same intuitive

    answers or complex problems and questions. Why is

    it, then, that womens intuition is more respected than

    mens? The answer is simple. Women listen to their

    intuition more, while men have a tendency to brush

    it aside.

    When a woman says, This situation doesnt eel

    right, she views this eeling as a valid and important

    assessment o whether the situation is right or wrong.

    Women are very respectul o their intuitive eelings

    and they generally reuse to go against them. Men will

    oten put aside their intuitive leanings in avor o short-

    term advantage, only to pay the price later.

    Perhaps the best method or stimulating your

    intuition is by learning to practice solitude on a regular

    basis. Throughout the ages, the greatest thinkers o all

    time have practiced solitude as a regular part o their

    work and lie. They have taken time to be alone with

    themselves. They have gone o and sat quietly prior toany situation o importance. Most o the great thinkers

    o today use solitude as an essential tool in developing

    the creative insights and intuitions that oten have the

    power to change our lives.

    Most people have never practiced solitude because

    they wrongly believe that they have no time or it.

    However, one good idea that comes to you in the

    silence o solitude can save you a year o hard work.

    You cannot aord not to practice solitude on a regular

    basis. Heres how you do it.

    First, fnd a place to sit where you can becompletely alone, in silence, without interruptions.You want to avoid any activities that will disturb

    your reverie, such as eating, drinking, listeningto music, and getting telephone calls. You can sitin your basement, your backyard, or on a parkbench. The main objective is to be completelyalone with yoursel.

    And second, orce yoursel to sit withoutmoving or 60 minutes. The frst 25 or 30 minutes

    will be excruciatingly difcult. You will have anirresistible urge to get up and walk around. Butyou must persist. You must orce yoursel to staystill.

    Ater 25 or 30 minutes, a wonderul thing will

    happen. You will start to eel very good about yoursel

    and your lie. You will relax completely. Your mind will

    become calm and clear. You will eel energy fowing

    through your body. The situations and diculties o

    your lie will seem to ade away, and you will begin to

    get tremendous clarity on how to reach your goals.

    At the end o your 60 minutes, get up and do exactly

    what your intuition told you to do. Dont worry about

    whether or not people will like it or approve o it. Just

    take the action, make the commitment, do the deed.

    You will nd later that this was exactly the right thing

    to do.

    Solitude requires no energy, no eort, no trying

    at all. It simply requires a state o relaxed awareness

    where you open your mind to innite intelligence.

    Hi Ari,

    I was at a kids birthday party the otherday and one o the moms heard me talkingto another mom who uses my product.Anyways, she was interested to know more,so I asked her i shed be open to seeing a

    demo. I also assured her that I would only dothe demo and I wouldnt be talking aboutprices, but i she was interested we couldset up a time to discuss what her needs are.Anyways, totally took the pressure o herand we have an appt to ollow up this Fri.I did the demo or her last night.     Ive learned a little rom the utubes but itsbig in many ways. I asked a mom the otherday i shed be open to seeing a demo onceshe expressed an interest in what I oer. She

    actually started asking me questions aboutwhat I do at a party. I said that I would dothe demo or her but I wanted to let her knowthat I wouldnt be talking price at the demobut i she was interested that we could setup an appt a couple o days later.     rep in my oce or new sales....When I have to sit at mydesk and listen to other reps make calls I realize many othe most common mistakes new and veteran sales repsmake and really dont have a clue that there is a betterapproach than the same old techniques that typically gettaught in sales training classes most o the time !

    First o, I apologize or this being so long,but ater what happened today, I had toshare my story with you.

    Ater 25+ years as an estate planner, Inally had enough with it all and decided

    to start my own business helping small businesses get moreleads and turning them into repeat buyers. Little did I knowat the time how competitive and tough it was going to bebreaking into this market.

    For 10 months I was spending more than I was makingon marketing and sales training with mediocre results atbest. What I was learning rom Tom Hopkins, SPIN Sellingand the Sandler Method (to name a ew), was how to takecontrol o the sales talk and close hard it was almost likeplaying chess where I had to think 7 moves ahead withthe goal being to block my opponents moves whileattacking their deense. All o these sales methodologieswere touted as being the best o the best. But the truth is,they were burning me out ast. They elt so manipulativeand un-authentic. Bottom line, I elt that it just wasnt me.

    I threw mysel a pity party (which was only attendedby me) and was thinking about calling it quits. But thenI happen to come across Unlock The Game through areerral. I remember that I wasnt very enthusiastic aboutlearning yet another crummy sales technique.

    On September 21st, I listened to The 7 Secrets o ColdCalling Even The Sales Gurus Dont Know, and read the4 articles, taking copious notes. I was totally skeptical othis non-traditional sales approach and I wasnt buyinginto this new mindset Ari was selling. I mean come onthis guy wants me to ocus on a conversation and try tobuild trust and NOT ocus on the sale. What B.S. --- I wasthinking.

    Over the next week I was getting emails with videosand articles, which I watched and read over not just once,but at least 9 or 10 times each.

    I cant tell you what exactly happened that changedmy mind about Aris sales method, but I do know that Idecided to give it a try because what I was doing wasntworking and was making me eel desperate or the sale.

    On October 1st, 2nd and 3rd, I went to work on mybusiness. My goal was to put 100% eort and 100% heartinto the Unlock The Game methodology.

    I made a poster that I hung over my desk that says Iwill not make any assumptions during my sales calls. I willbuild a conversation with the business owner to build trustand to see i theres a t to do business together. My goal

    is to get to the truth.

    It took me the better part o the day to come up with 2or 3 core problems rom my markets point o view, and itwas very enlightening because it orced me to articulateit. And the more I drilled down, the more clear it becameto me. I know it still needs work and testing, but I think I didokay or now.

    I wrote out my script and some possible objections andrehearsed them or a ew hours and went to bed that nightunsure i this was going to work. I woke up at 4:00am. It wasMonday, October 4th and today was the day. I lied in bedgoing over my script and the mindset in my head becauseI couldnt go back to sleep.

    6:00am. My alarm went o and I got ready or the day.I did all my usual rituals that I do or mysel, my wie andmy daughters, which takes a ew hours to complete. Butthis morning I was dragging my eet and extra hour. I keptgoing over my script, then listened to The 7 Secrets toCold Calling again.

    It was now 9:25am. I orced mysel to pick up the phone.I elt nervous and a little scared. I dialed my rst businessowner and got his voice mail. I was relieved he didntanswer, hung up and went to my second dial. Someoneanswered

    Business: Hello Sta Printing. Can I help you?

    Me: Hello, this is Mike speaking. Maybe you can helpme out or a moment, I said as low-key as my nerveswould allow.

    Business: Sure can. Whats on your mind?

    Me: Im just giving you a call to see i your business is

    struggling with getting new and repeat customers throughyour ront door.

    Business: Yeah we can use a boost. But youll haveto talk with the owner. He should be back in a ew hours.His name is Arlo. Its better to call him ater 5 and beore 7when he leaves. Thats when its most quiet around here.

    Me: Thanks, I appreciate that. Say, you mentioned thatyou could use a boost what did you mean by that?

I thinkI still need to work on that a lot more to get it down soit comes out naturally and logically.     learned the little bit that I was given rom Ari, you know,the ree recordings, videos and articles. So I know thattheres more to this than what Im stumbling around with.Im thinking that I could accomplish much more.

    I also noticed I was making ewer dials. I usually made 30to 50 calls on Monday and Tuesday (sometimes Wednesday)and got anywhere rom 2 to 4 appointments.

    Using the Unlock The Game methodology, I made about20 calls and had 7 appointments or a presentation.

    Ive already been on 2 o the appointments andunortunately, not knowing any better, I reverted backto my old school sales style and burned both o theappointments. I realize that was a mistake, but since I dontknow everything I needed to know about the Unlock TheGame methodology, I just dont know what I dont know, ithat makes any sense, so Im not sure how to proceed.

    Today was my third appointment and I booked a smallorder, but I closed it old school and I really didnt eel rightabout it. I called the business owner and told him that I thinkthat I may have pressured him into the sale and I wouldnteel right taking his money (even though I really can useit). I told him my goal was to build a relationship and tohelp him build his business and I apologized. I oered hismoney back.

    He told me that he was actually thinking aboutcanceling, but changed his mind because o this ollowup phone call. Is that cool or what?

    Tomorrow and Friday I go out on the last 4 appointmentsI made. Im both excited and dreading the disconnectbetween how I got the appointments in the rst place andthen reverting back to my old school presentation.

    Operating in this sales environment is like working in amineeld. It brought up insecurities in me and made meeel like a rocket ready to explode. How could I stand upor what I believe when all the sales training and gurusdont support it? The pain ueled by silence and habit keptme on the same path or many years. I was determined tond another way.

    My ellow colleagues envied my acility to get ino andappointments with key players.

    UNFORTUNATELY, in my case, cultural idiosyncrasy, and

    Status Quo rom whit in the own company always weremy mayor objections, and unbelievable, but true, mostprospects can really believe there are sincere empathy,almost like too good to be true.

    I used to work or a non protable organization thatprovides technical and nancial support or small industries,loans up to 2 million pesos, were government puts up to90% o the capital in a lost ound (means ree) and thecompany only pays back 10% o it, our broker service, andtechnical support has a symbolic price, but, it is 100% taskdeductible, so every thing is FREE, (daddy governmentpays in order to create jobs).

    Latin cultures arent ready or sincerity, they disbelie,and distrust, honest and genuine people, thats why Implanning to start a business o my own, hopeully then Icould have enough to buy the UTG Cds.
