Welcome to the 2012 HOI Senior Games & Fine Arts Festival!We are thrilled you’ve decided to join us for this fantastic eventlled with great food, fun and fellowship!
The same events you’ve loved in the past will still be available,and we’ve added a few new ones to make it even better! Be sure
to check out the Men’s Softball Tournament (held the weekendprior @ Peoria Stadium), Disc (Frisbee) Golf, Miniature Golf,Senior Games Night with the Peoria Chiefs, and the Spirit of Peoria Riverboat Cruise . . . just to name a few!

Packet Pickup/Participant Check-in — All participants must check in and receive a Registration Packet and t-shirt to participate. Do this on Wednesday, 5/23 or Thursday, 5/24 at the RiverPlex from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
LIABILITY WAIVER Participation in the 2012 Heart of Illinois Senior Games & Fine Arts Festival will be denied if the signature of the adult participant
• Age Brackets: For individual events, there are separate categories for men and women in ve-year age groups asfollows: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, etc. For team events, the categories are:50+, 60+, 70+ and 80+.
• Teams and Partners: When registering, you must list your team members or partners when relevant. Registrationsfor team or partner events without this information will not be processed. All team members/partners must alsoregister. Teams will be entered in the age bracket of the youngest member of their team.
• Medals: Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three competitors in each event and agedivision. Ribbons will be awarded to all other participants in each event. “Just for Fun” events (indicated by asterisks*) do not include awards.
• Equipment: All equipment will be provided except for : tennis racquets and balls, badminton racquets, bicycles andhelmets, golf equipment, horseshoes, shotgun and shells, pickle ball racquets, table tennis paddles, pool cues andchalk. Participants may bring personal equipment of regulation size/weight for any sport, with the exception of ‘eld’equipment in the Track and Field category.

Artwork/literary works will be on display for viewing. A four-piece band willprovide music while fantastic food and beverages, compliments of Lutheran Hill-side Village, are served. Performances will take place on stage in the RiverPlex Arena at approximately 6:45 p.m. Awards for all Literary, Visual and Performing Arts will be received on stage following the performances. Don’t miss the fun!
