R E M I N D E R – HNC ANNUAL DINNER & PRESENTATION NIGHT

The HNC Annual Dinner & Presentation Night is on Saturday 13th of October at the Kingsway

Sportsman Club from 6pm. You should have received your invitation from your team

manager. If you have not RSVPd to your team manager or informed them that you cannot

attend PLEASE DO SO IMMEDIATELY so we can cater for the right amount of attendees. The

night is the pinnacle social event for HNC annually and is a great way to celebrate the club’s

achievements and get together with your team.

SPECIALIST SESSION WITH SUE GAUDION

We held a specialist session which Sue Gaudion (International Coach and former AIS & West

Coast Fever Coach) conducted for some Hamersley teams for their last training before the

Grand Finals – the players involved were really grateful to have the opportunity to work

with and learn from Sue!

Not Just Netball

Some of our very own Hamersley ladies took part in the Western Mud Rush on Sunday 19

August at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon.

This involved tackling an 8km obstacle course with lots of mud.

Team: Hammers & Friends (Rachel Mizen, Lisa Townsend, Steven Cairney & Janine Friday)

Support Crew: A loyal band of “Saturday courtside supporters” who were wonderful in

cheering on the team as they pushed through the muddy course. Audrey & John Cairney

course with the team),

Nan.

It was a fantastic

experience - great team

building. Challenging

and heaps of fun!

They’ll be doing it again

next year for sure!

Venetians Netball Club is once again organising a Netball rally to raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Australia...the Margaret Witney Cup.

It is an Open / Seniors only event, and all clubs and skill levels are welcome. It is a round robin style event, held on 21st October 2012 at Kingsway Netball Courts.
