“Embryonic and larval expression pattern of the nuclear hormone receptor gene nhr-25 in

the transgenic C. elegans (nematode)”The transgenic nematode carries artificial copies of nhr-25 gene and its regulatory elements that were fused to coding sequences of GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein). These elements drive the expression of recombinant (artificial) green NHR-25 protein specifically in the nuclei of majority of the epidermal cells during embryonic and larval development. The intensity the green NHR-25 protein in these cells mimics the levels of native or endogenous NHR-25 within them. The merged nomarski and GFP images were obtained through Olympus Confocal Microscopy and later modified by Adobe Photoshop.
