CPS Track and Field
All non-board coaches must go through the hiring process, every
year.Coaching while not being processed will result in a reprimand
to you as well as your AD, and you will not be compensated for your
time.Your relationship with your AD is of primary importance. You
must register your team by submitting a formal eligibility sheet
done through IMPACT. Do not allow a student to practice or compete
in meets without having anUpdated medical on file at the school.
Submit the Indoor DocumentMake sure that you are formally hired go
through the processDue on Jan 18: CORS, Non-conf schedule, Coaches
data formRegister for an account on athletic.netConsider whether
you will compete in the IHSA Series and make sure your AD registers
your team online by February 1.Do not practice inside (halls,
stairs) until permission is granted.Mandatory!!! Become certified

CPS Track and Field (2)Eligibility for the Stipend
Register your team by January 18, with CORS, Coach Data Sheet,
and Indoor DocumentHave a formal team recognized team with the
appropriate participation numbersBasketball, wrestling, and other
winter sport coaches are only eligible for the (Outdoor) season
hours for track and field.
These coaches will be paid the greater stipend between (Indoor
Track) and the winter sport they coached.This is all pending
compliance with the criteria for payment.Stipend paid at the end of
the spring season (June)Criteria for receiving the maximum hours of
the coaches stipendFirst year programs are developmental eligible
for of the stipendEligible for of the stipend if registered after
the deadline but prior to March 2 And participate in 4 meets with
